THEIR STORY

Training with welfare in mind.

FIRST, DO NO HARM

Force-free. Dog-centred. Welfare-oriented.

I practice reward-based training because I believe it’s the best way to build a strong, lifelong bond between dogs and their people.

While rewards are a wonderful tool for teaching new behaviours, changing existing ones requires knowledge and experience – doing it without punishment, without suppressing emotions, and without depriving a dog of the resources or natural activities they live for.

There’s no greater satisfaction than watching your dog make steady progress, knowing you achieved it without resorting to harsh methods that rely on pain or fear.

Seeing trust and love in your dog’s eyes, that’s what truly matters. 💛

EXPECT DIFFERENT

Compassionate training brings the dog’s guardian and the trainer together to face challenges as a team, always keeping the dog’s welfare at heart.

To achieve this, you’ll also develop your own skills, like learning to see situations from new perspectives, think creatively, and practise empathy to better understand your dog’s emotional world. You’ll refine your body awareness, reflexes, and emotional regulation. For some guardians, this process even means healing parts of themselves to truly help their dog.

Together, we’ll navigate this complex yet fascinating journey, discovering humane, practical ways to manage every day and working on individually tailored exercises that bring meaningful, lasting change to your life with your dog.

 WHAT I DO

Help dogs find strategies for emotional regulation.

Strengthen dog-human bond.

Develop a shared language between you and your dog.

Foster understanding and empathy.

Build practical skills for everyday life.

Support each dog’s personal growth.

Guide slow, steady, and lasting progress.

WHAT I DON’T DO

Enforce control for the sake of control.

Demand blind obedience.

Correct so-called dominance issues.

Blame dogs for their behaviour.

Push for performance over wellbeing.

Limit dog’s choices.

Offer quick fixes.

As a dog parent, you deserve to know what to expect when you place your trust in a trainer. That’s why I’m transparent about the tools I use, and just as importantly, the ones I don’t.

ARE WE A MATCH?

I love partnering with dedicated dog guardians and I’d be delighted to meet you and your companion.

Together, we’ll create a space built on trust and mutual respect, where learning becomes joyful and communication flows both ways. You’ll discover how to read your dog’s subtle signals, respond with clarity and compassion, and build a partnership that feels effortless and deeply rewarding.

Your dog will learn to regulate their emotions and adapt their reactions to different situations. Their brain will begin forming new patterns that signal safety and familiarity, reducing the need for constant alertness, excitement or anxiety.

I’d love to guide and support you on that journey. Check out my services to see how we can work together.

“Learning boundaries is necessary for a dog, but it should never get in the way of meeting their needs.”
